As much fun as it is to watch the happy Bachelorette couple smooch in public for the first time, there’s one major purpose for “After the Final Rose”: to find out the next Bachelor. It’s nearly always the same game, on both The Bachelor wrap-up show and tonight’s sister program. But during the July 28 debut of engaged couple Andi Dorfman and Josh Murray, we waited with bated breath… and were totally disappointed.

During the live broadcast of the Season 10 finale, Chris Harrison chatted it up with cast members from Bachelor in Paradise — which kicks off next Monday — as he does. But Michelle Money didn’t pander like everyone else; instead, she asked Chris straight up when they were going to find out the guy who had the gig. Although Chris revealed that “one of the guys in the running” was indeed in the crowd, he promised the info wouldn’t be delivered until later.

But those of you who were waiting for the knowledge to get dropped after the proposal/dumping extravaganza that is the Finale are likely still cleaning up shards of glass from throwing your wine at the TV. Yep, that’s right, Herr Harrison didn’t bother letting us in on his secret, though it must be said that much discussed candidate Chris Soules was sitting front and center during the total s—tshow episode.  As for darkhorse Arie Luyendyk, Jr., the racing stud was busy tweeting sweet nothings at Andi and hashtagging emotions. We’re betting they won’t announce the news until the Bachelor in Paradise finale to try and get ratings up for their new summer show. But as much as we love following the action, we bet Arie would #love to hear if he’s got the gig as much as we’d love for him to get it…

Are you pissed they held back on the info? Hit the comments and discuss!
