Looks like Season 18 of The Bachelor won't be going to the greens! Despite all those rumors of him being the next stud to dole out roses, Aussie golfer Adam Scott — who won the 2013 Masters Tournament on April 14 — tells CBS This Morning that he's not on the market: He has a girlfriend!
Oprah BFF Gayle King, who co-anchors the morning program, starts singing Adam's praises and pointedly refers to him as "the world's most eligible bachelor."
"Well, uh," Adam adorably stammers, "that's all quite, uh, embarrassing, really."
"Adam, it's very flattering!" Gayle interjects. (Gayle is responsible for telling us all how to feel, in case you didn't know.)
"Flattering, right. Thank you!" he says. "I think so, absolutely. But, um... No, I am not single at all. I'm very much in a relationship and very happy at the moment."
Apparently, the lucky lady is named Marie, but that's all we know about her. Adam previously dated tennis champ Ana Ivanovic.
And no, the 32-year-old does not star on Parks and Recreation. That's Adam Scott, the actor, who hilariously ranted against being compared to the golfer in a Conan skit.
That Adam, incidentally, is also in a relationship — so he's out of the running for Season 18, too! Double strike-out. Or... whatever the equivalent golf analogy is. We don't know sports.
