AshLee Frazier Calls Tierra LiCausi’s Engagement a “Hoax”

Them be fighting words! Just a day after Wetpaint exclusively confirmed Tierra LiCausi’s engagement, Tierra’s fellow Bachelor Season 17 contestant AshLee Frazier is throwing major shade at Tierra’s happy news. In a call with reporters on Thursday, AshLee revisited her feud with 24-year-old Tierra and threw some wood back on the fire, stating she doubts the engagement is real.

“We all tried to get along with [Tierra],” AshLee sighed, adding, “At one point or another, I would say if not all, the majority of the girls individually reached out to try and build a relationship with her and she didn’t want any part of it.” Tierra’s tension with the other girls came to a boiling point in The Bachelor Season 17, Episode 7, at which point Sean Lowe realized the competition was too much for Tierra to endure.

After returning home from filming in late October 2012, Tierra reconnected with her on-again off-again boyfriend, and he proposed in January 2013. Despite the fact that Tierra’s brother confirms the news, AshLee is dubious the engagement is anything but a publicity stunt. 

"If she is [engaged], I wish her all the best, but it may just be a hoax,” AshLee told reporters on the conference call. “With Tierra, we can't really put too much past her. Honestly, it wouldn't surprise me if that was the case."
