You know she’s a 28-year-old model from Santa Monica. You know both Bachelor Ben Flajnik and his dog Scotch really like her (and that they’re pretty much the only ones who do at this point). But what else do you know about The Bachelor Season 16 villain/frontrunner Courtney Robertson? Play with your hair while reading these five tidbits:
1. She’s a *working* model
Courtney keeps talking about traveling the world for her modeling job and unlike a questionable blogger we know (start filling out that space, Jenna), Courtney seems to have a lot of clips to her modeling resume. According to CourtneyRobertson.com, the Santa Monica-based brunette is repped by Ford Models in L.A. She was on the cover of Fitness Magazine in April 2011 and here she is in a Caesar’s Palace commercial. She’s also a distractingly lovely lady in this “Guys Never Change” commercial. For some reason, there are also fun ultra-dramatic remixes of her commercials, focused specifically on her. Here's one called "Model Courtney Robertson - Remixed By EnewsOf.com - Escala/Jim Jordan Photography/Caesars/Bourbon."
2. She dated the Desperate Housewives' sexy gardener
Starcasm has pics of Courtney with former Desperate Housewives actor Jesse Metcalfe. To quote the site, "That’s right, Gabrielle Solice’s (Eva Longoria) boy toy gardener dated Courtney back in 2005 and even took her as his date to the EMMY Awards that year. The photos in this post are of the two of them from the red carpet at the Awards, which were held at at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles on September 18, 2005." Apparently they only dated for a very short period of time and, one source close to the actor told us, Jesse is “disgusted” that his name is even being associated with all of this.
3. She really has a thing for hair — but her mom doesn't
Courtney played with "cutie pie" Ben's hair twice on The Bachelor premiere, but she was already gushing about his hair in a pre-season interview with Access Hollywood. "I love his hair. He's got a great head of hair. He's never going bald. He's got a good hairline." But that's not enough to get her mom's motors going... In an interview with In Touch, she described her potential future son-in-law as "very nice," but doesn't think he can compete in the looks department with some of Courtney's exes. "She's dated some really good-looking men," says mom. Maybe it's time for her to meet (and be charmed by) Storm Horse...
4. She's in love with love
In her ABC bio, Courtney answered "Do you consider yourself a romantic and why?" with "I'm a hopeless romantic. Love is my religion. I'm in love with love. All I want is to find the right guy & love him forever." Her ideal mate's personality is "Warm, caring, amazing, sense of humor, flirty, genuine, keeps me on my toes, sensitive & has depth." (And has great hair!) However, some unnamed source told Ryan Seacrest that Courtney dumped her longtime boyfriend just before going on The Bachelor — and never gave him a reason. Courtney told Ben she had been single for a while, so who is telling the truth and who is fibbing?
5. A 2-carat diamond would be fine for her, thanks
In her intro video, she said she's had to pose as a fake bride many times as a model. She'd love to be a real bride. "I think wedding rings look pretty amazing on me, actually. I could see a big rock on there. I know what I want and I think 2 carats is, you know, I just want a ring. I’m worth it.”
