Life lesson from The Bachelor Season 1, Episode 7 in St. Croix: Always listen to your big sister. If Sean Lowe had listened to his gorgeous sis Shay Shull, he’d have never ended up in a secluded tropical location with a Lord of the Flies situation on his hands. Bless his well-intentioned heart, Sean was blinded by Tierra LiCausi’s sparkle until AshLee Frazier brazenly broke it down for him, telling the Bachelor, “The Tierra you see isn’t the one the girls see.”

After both girls had their one-on-ones with Sean, Tierra sensed Sean was distancing himself from her. She avidly sniffed out the rat, finding out that AshLee warned Sean about Tierra’s antics. What followed was the “most dramatic meltdown in Bachelor history,” according to ABC’s press release (and they weren’t lying). Sean finally witnessed Tierra’s over-the-top dramatics, and decided against introducing the 24-year-old bombshell to his sister (visiting from Texas for her birthday).

Sean gracefully gave Tierra the sweetest “It’s not you, it’s me” sendoff in Bachelor history, telling her he basically had a revelation. “This was not my intention, I had no idea this was going to transpire,” but.... “I think it might be best if you go home now.” Tierra sobbed into her hands and paraded past the (legions of) crew members to her exit.

Sean then broke the news to the girls much more plainly than he did to Tierra: “I knew she wasn’t going to be my wife.”
