Last year we wrote about the infamous lack of diversity in The Bachelor franchise, including how we were disappointed to see Brad Womack didn’t have a single Latina, Asian American, or African American lady on his season. Same goes for Ben Flajnik on The Bachelor Season 16. It’s just a sea of pretty young blondes and brunettes with Jennifer as the token redhead (except maybe the eliminated Dianna Martinez). That doesn’t count as diversity.
Do you think the franchise needs to do some outreach to find more diverse contestants or do you not really care as long as they cast appropriately crazy ladies — white, black, brown, purple, or green with envy?
