It’s not like Ellen DeGeneres hasn’t tried. She tried to point out to Ben Flajnik herself about Courtney Robertson’s (perceived) manipulative ways. But when she couldn’t get a good enough response from him, she went straight to the top of the Bachelor: Chris Harrison.
The Bachelor Rosemaster/legend sat down with the talk show host this week and got grilled about this lack of involvement in the Ben-Courtney-Ben’s hormones love triangle. Of course, Ellen wasn’t being too serious, although she’s expressing the sentiments of millions of viewers who are, as Chris says, find it “maddening” that Ben is falling for Courtney’s “game.”
But lest you think that Chris is wagging the proverbial finger at the model’s antics with The Bachelor, Chris gives the defense that “love is a bit of a game.” And while he doesn’t seem to find the aggressive flirtation so reprehensible, he reveals to Ellen that it’s when she “really puts the screws to everybody” (i.e. getting a rose and rubbing it in the other bachelorettes’ faces) that really gets his Calvin Klein Ellen boxers in a twist.
