As much as we try to turn a deaf ear to these rumors, the latest reports that The Bachelor Season 15 ‘ship is sinking sounds too bad to ignore.

RumorFix already claimed Brad Womack and Emily Maynard split up last week. Now Life & Style has splashed Brad & Em on their latest cover with the words "Bachelor Split Confirmed! Why Emily Left Brad.”

Granted, it’s another tabloid quoting unnamed “insiders,” but where there’s so much smoke...

One such insider told Life & Style that "Emily told Brad that she can't picture them getting married. Brad's not acting like a fiancé, and she knows that he's not going to change. Emily knows in her heart of hearts that the relationship is finished." (Brad’s determined ex, Laurel Kagay, will love the sound of that.)

The mag has a second insider close to Em confirming  the split as well, stating, "Emily was very close to moving with her daughter, Ricki, to Austin, Texas, just weeks ago, but that's not true anymore."

Apparently, Em didn’t like that Brad put an offer on a new home — which we’d assumed was for him, Emily, and Em's daughter Ricki — without consulting her or asking her to see the house first.

The biggest reported reason for the split includes Emily's fear that Brad was cheating on her. "Brad seemed very complacent all of a sudden," the insider said. "He did everything he could to woo and charm Emily on the show, and then it just slowed. Emily knows he likes Texas, he likes his bars and booze, so she's just wondering if he likes someone else. It started to really worry Emily. She felt like, 'If he's not wanting to see her, who is he with?'"

That’s weird, because Camp Brad has insisted that Brad was the one smitten with Emily while she has been the one playing games.

What’s more:

  • Life & Style says Emily hasn't announced a split because her contract won't allow her. They claim she got a call on April 13 to remind her of that point, probably because she is still tweeting (although not about Brad anymore) even though Brad deleted his account.

We know fans want us to leave Brad & Em alone so they can work on their relationship, but if that first point is true, ABC execs should know that we’d much prefer the truth over a fake fairytale ending. Just as long as the truth doesn’t look too much like Vienna and Jake circa 2010.
