Since getting spotted in her LA hometown over the weekend, The Bachelor Season 16’s Courtney Robertson has been photographed nearly every time she leaves the house. Recently, photogs even snapped shots of her wearing a thin pave ring while she was out and about running errands with a pal. It’s not the bauble itself that has everyone buzzing, it’s where Courtney was wearing it: on the ring finger of her left hand! Did she secretly tie the knot with someone? And if so, is that someone… Ben Flajnik?

Now, Wetpaint Entertainment can exclusively reveal the answer.

“Courtney is NOT married,” a Bachelor insider tells Wetpaint Entertainment. “Not even close. I don’t know why she was wearing the ring on that hand – maybe she didn’t realize what finger she had put it on. But it’s not a new ring, she’s had it for a while.”

Indeed, photos prove Courtney’s been wearing the ring for at least a few months, just on a different hand. And we doubt that if she and Ben had secretly gotten married, there’d be no way she’d be allowed to wear the ring in public.

“Give me a break,” the insider says. “Bachelor producers have been doing this for years. You really think they’d let her out of the house wearing a ring on her left hand if they were really husband and wife? The finale is weeks and weeks away, and they would never risk revealing something like that.”

Case closed, then. Courtney is not married. She just has very, very good taste in jewelry!
