From the first night at the mansion to the final rose ceremony, The Bachelor love journey seemingly transcends time. True love doesn’t have a timeline — except it does. Especially when filming is concerned.

While we prefer to ignore things like “time” in favor of Jef Holm gifs, Bachelor producers keep a tight schedule, documenting an entire season in just six short weeks. Filming for Sean Lowe’s season began in Los Angeles on September 20, 2012 — and the final rose ceremony is reportedly taking place on the first weekend in November.

That’s right, y’all: Sean has just six weeks to fall in love with the girl he’s (probably not) going to marry. Does that seem like too short of a timeline — or just long enough?
