Jake Pavelka has some advice for Sean Lowe — from one Bachelor-turned-dancer to another.
Jake, the 14th Bachelor, joined the 10th season of Dancing With the Stars, while engaged to Vienna Girardi. And considering Sean, the 17th Bachelor, is doing the same — signing on for Season 16 of DWTS after proposing to Catherine Giudici — Jake wants to impart his wisdom.
“Don’t shut out your sweetheart,” Jake tells Sean via a Celebuzz interview. “You have to have a high level of communication with what you’re doing on the dance floor because she’s going to see everything.”
Jake reveals how he encouraged Vienna to get to know his dancing partner, Chelsie Hightower, and advises Sean to introduce Catherine to his pro, Peta Murgatroyd.
He also talks about how the sensual the show’s dance routines can be — and how the chemistry often extends past the parquet floor. “If you’ve noticed, some of the celebrities date the dancers,” he says, “and the audience digs it, and it builds ratings.
“No matter how secure a woman is, when she sees her man dancing the way he’s going to with another woman, it would make anyone crazy.”
But Jake also applauds Sean’s down-to-earthness and his values, speculating that Sean will make it to at least the semifinals.
