When we think of guys who we’d compete for, Kiptyn Locke makes the top of the list. The former Bachelorette Season 5 and Bachelor Pad 1 contestant made us swoon by keeping his head on straight despite the long exposure time. Natch, he found a lovely lady in BP1 partner Tenley Molzahn, whom he dated until their sad split a few months back.

While we still wish that KipTen would get back together, we can’t help but wonder if he would make a good rose-doling dude for the next season of The Bachelor. By the time it starts filming in the Fall, he will have had nearly a year to regroup from his breakup, and no one wears a rose ceremony-appropriate blue shirt like Kiptyn.

Wetpaint Entertainment caught up with the San Diego resident at the 2nd Annual Chris4Life Celebrity Charity Auction on April 5, 2013 in Los Angeles to chat about the possibility of a small screen return. But unfortunately, it’s not sounding good.

So, are his TV days over for now? “I think so,” he tells Wetpaint exclusively. “I mean, Tenley and I went through a few ideas during the last couple of years, but if the right thing came along, I'd never say never. It was an awesome ride, and I love it. It was fun, but I'm not pursuing anything. I'll say that.” Bummer.

But what if it wasn’t just any show — he deserves a Kiptyn-centric chance at love, right? So, would he hang with Chris Harrison and 25 ladies for a couple months? “No. I wouldn't do it,” he says, disappointing millions of ladies the world over. “I think it's a great show. I love the friends I got through it, but I had that conversation. And I didn't do it then, I wouldn't do it now. But I will watch. I will continue to watch.”

Well, that’s that. But hey, Kiptyn, if you want 25 girls to compete for you, just stop by our viewing parties. Just sayin...
