We know all about Bachelor lovebirds Sean Lowe and Catherine Giudici and their romantic success, but what about the women who weren’t so lucky in love? Emme Magazine caught up with Kristy Kaminski, whom Sean nixed in the third episode, to talk about the whole saga — and she airs mixed feelings about the show, to say the least!

“I wasn’t a fan of the show before,” she confesses. “I had a lot of people in my life that were. I ended up getting anonymously submitted to the show. They called me back. I initially said no to do it. Then I was back and forth. I knew it would open some doors being out there in the public.”

Kristy also dishes on Sean and how they didn’t exactly have chemistry with the Bachelor hunk. “I was a little bummed that it was Sean. We were polar opposites! [...] He’s quiet and dry-humored. He’s blonde, and I really only like dark guys! My family is super outgoing, loud, and funny, and he’s not really outgoing. I didn’t think he was the one for me.”

But Kristy does have hope for Sean’s relationship with Catherine. “I don’t think fame is something that he’s looking for. His intentions were strong. I think he’s a Southern, classy guy. There’s no question about that. Catherine is [a] really funny, carefree, no drama type of girl. I think it could work.”

What other behind-the-scenes scoop can she spill? For one, she says she’s a fan of Tierra, stating that the polarizing contestant was always nice to her and even offered a bed to her after Kristy’s room became too warm. (And Kristy alleges that Tierra really did fall down those stairs!)

Now, post-Bachelor, Kristy is staying busy with her fitness business, though she says she’s weighing all the modeling and acting options her increased visibility has offered.

Glad to hear of another contestant who’s moving onward and upward!
