Melissa Rycroft Names Baby Girl

Here we go again. The Bachelor and Dancing with the Stars alum Melissa Rycroft is having a baby girl, and she told reporters at a Halloween charity event that she and husband Tye Strickland have picked out a name for their daughter-to-be. "The name came to us pretty easily," Melissa said. So what is it? "I think we are going to keep that little secret between us until she's actually here, though." Tease!
Tye said he "wanted a girl all along" and hopes the baby takes after his wife. "I just hope she looks like Melissa," the smart hubby told People. "I look at all these pictures of Melissa as a baby, and that's probably what we are going to have."
Melissa added, "I just can't wait to meet her. I just can't wait to see what she looks like and who she's going to act like."
Mel made a name for herself as Jason Mesnick's initial pick on The Bachelor Season 13. After he dumped her (on TV) for Molly Malaney, she went on DWTS Season 8, made it to third place, and then landed the co-hosting gig for Bachelor Pad, among other TV duties. She's currently a finalist in the Top Reality Stars in Dallas contest.
Melissa married insurance agent Tye last December, and she revealed her pregnancy to Us Weekly in July. Last month, after weeks of keeping the gender to herself, she spilled the "It's a girl" beans on CBS' The Talk. Her baby is due in January, and chances are we'll hear a lot more about it before then.
