New Rumor! Is Emily Maynard Going to Be the Next Bachelorette?

We know The Bachelorette Season 7 hasn't exactly been gangbusters, but can we please get through it before anointing the Season 8 lass? Despite Emily Maynard's assertions that being the Bachelorette was "the last thing on my mind," Us Weekly claims the now single Season 15 Bachelor winner is a sure bet to follow in the footsteps of Ashley Hebert.

"She hasn't officially signed on yet, but it looks like a done deal," a source tells Us Weekly. The insider claims Emily wants to use her time on the show to jump-start a broadcasting career. "She wants to be famous," according to the source.

We’re still not sure about all these rumours. Especially considering that this time next year there will be a new crop of Season 16 Bachelor ladies from which to choose. What do you guys think?
