The Bachelor doesn’t exactly have the greatest track record when it comes to relationship longevity. So it’s no surprise that, since day one, Sean Lowe and Catherine Giudici have faced almost daily rumors that their relationship isn’t quite as rock-solid as they profess.

However, one of Catherine’s former competitors for the title of “The Future Mrs. Lowe” has all the confidence in the world that those two goofballs can make it work. Wetpaint Entertainment spoke exclusively with
Bachelor Season 17 fan favorite Sarah Herron on April 14 at the Reality Wanted Awards about the (ostensibly) happy couple. And according to Sarah, these two are solid as a rock.

What do you think of Sean and Catherine?

I think they're great. I saw them last week, and they're very happy and very in love. I love Catherine and I have great things to say about Sean. They're just both incredible people. And they're so diverse, yet very similar, and so I think they're this kind of perfect, strange, little combination for each other. And I'm happy for them.

They're kind of in that sh*tstorm right now where the media wants to break them apart. How do you think they're handling that stress?

I think it's going to be really tough. I think it's going to be challenging for them because they are at that brink where now America, viewers, the press, everyone is ready for them to fail. And unfortunately, that's kind of the track record with a lot of these relationships, and I can assure you, as a firsthand witness, they're not headed in that direction whatsoever. They're very in love and happy, but I think it's going to take determination and a lot of strength to get through what America's going to throw at them coming forward. But I think they both can do it, and I'm very confident that they are.

So take that, naysayers — maybe go easy on these two lovebirds and give them a chance to fly off into the sunset, you know? We know it’s hard to believe two people can find twoo wuv on television, but stranger things have happened. Just ask Ashley and J.P. Rosenbaum, Trista and Ryan Sutter, or Jason and Molly Mesnick!
