So the Chantal O'Brien storyline seems to have started. In Brad Womack's interview blitz, he's been talking up how he fell for his chosen one very early on, starting with their first date. But he won't say if it was a one-on-one or a group date.

Brad has now had two group dates with Chantal, the woman Reality Steve says he picks in the end, but it's not until Episode 3 that Chantal and Brad have their first big moment. During their sit-down by the pool during the action movie group date, she opens up about her own daddy issues, which is something close to Brad's heart.

Before their one-on-one time, Chantal describes Brad as "so amazing" — he's what she's looking for. But having recently come out of a divorce, she's definitely out of her comfort zone in the dating world.

He asks how she's doing, and she starts crying. She doesn't want to put pressure on him, but "it sucks." "I just feel like every time I start to feel special with you, someone else has the same experience."

That has us worried! We know Brad is in love with the woman he chooses in the end — he keeps talking about it, and we believe him — but if it is Chantal and she's already feeling this insecure in Week 3, how is she feeling now that she's watching all his other (kiss-filled) dates?

When asked about her biggest mistake in life, Chantal tells Brad about her biological father. The dad she is always referring to is her stepdad. Her real dad is someone she last spoke to when she was 9. She tried to figure out where he was, and she finally tracked him down through the woman he remarried. When she called, she was told her dad passed away in February. Her mistake, and what changed her life, is that she was always waiting for tomorrow instead of living for each day. She's done waiting for tomorrow.

Chantal is the girl with the tough exterior ("the slapper"), but she's "soft on the inside." She hasn't been on a one-on-one date with Brad yet (that comes next week), but she feels an amazing connection with him. "Brad makes me feel like I'm the most special, beautiful, wonderful person in the world. I feel like I'm already falling for this man. It's so scary," she gushes. Still, she fears she's going to get her heart broken.

Chantal: "I like you."
Brad: "You too. We have some chemistry. I like it."
Chantal: "Too much."

They kiss. It's a wowza. However, right after this we see Brad kiss Chantal's nemesis in the house, Michelle Money. And he gives the group date rose to Shawntel Newton, telling her, "I'm wildly attracted to you."

To make matters even more confusing, he goes on a date with Emily Maynard, the rumored runner-up, and tells us she's been a frontrunner from the moment he met her. She tells him he makes her feel special, like she's the only one. He ends the date by admitting he feels the way people feel when they are starting a future with someone. "I can see Emily being the woman that I want to spend my life with."

How will sensitive, passionate Chantal take all this? In the extended preview, she tearfully tells Brad, "If I felt something for someone I could not just go and kiss all these different people." We want the happy ending, but will it endure all of the makeout sessions and post-season media scrutiny?
