It’s time to rank Ben Flajnik’s Bachelor beauties. Out of 25, we’re picking our top five favorites — just based on their ABC photos and bios. Everything will change once we see them walking, talking, flirting, crying, and crying some more, but you can glean a lot from the little bios. Not so much the photos, though. Sometimes the nervous ladies end up with fake smiles and wonky eyes and we know in real life they’re prettier than that. That said, here are five Season 16 ladies we already love.
5. Casey S.
The 26-year-old trading clerk from Leawood, Kansas looks a bit like Britt Billmaier from The Bachelor Season 15, and there's an endearing candor to her ABC bio. For example, when asked "Who do you admire the most and why?" she said "Both of my parents because they raised me by example. And they showed me how to have good values, not by telling me, but by living with those values everyday." But before things get too Miss America, she also shares her most embarrassing moment — "Peeing in my pants in gym class in 7th grade — need I say more?" Um. No! And her best date memory is a good sign — "Laughing all night with a guy I had just met." You can click with a guy you just met? You've come to the right place...
Now this is a good photo. There's just something about the 24-year-old from Clarksville, Tennessee that draws you in. Her answers are pretty sweet too. When asked "If you wanted to really impress a man what would you do and why?" she answered, "I would make a dinner and give them something sentimental — like a basket full of things that are 'us.' I feel like thought shows how much you care." Her ideal mate's personality is "Outgoing, fun-loving, athletic, driven, goal oriented, sensitive but strong, not afraid to try new things, Christian, family-oriented, love children." We're not sure about Ben's religious beliefs, but he ticks the other boxes. Kacie sounds like a keeper so we're not going to believe the nasty comment left under her ABC bio.
The 27-year-old fashion sales rep from Southhampton, MA sounds like a mature, grounded, independent woman — at least a good friend to have even if she doesn't match with Ben. Asked "What is your greatest achievement to date?" she said, "Moving to NYC on my own when I had no friends moving there or to live with. I was determined to make it work, even though I had some people back home who doubted me." Good for her! Asked "If you could be someone else for just one day, who would it be and why?" she said "I think I would want to be a guy for the day just to see what it's like....I think I would hate it but it would be good insight. Either that or a huge celebrity and see what it's like to be followed and photographed everywhere you go." And this is a great answer for an all-time favorite book — "A Return to Love by Marianne Williamson — I found it very empowering way to let more love in your life and just very different ways of looking at situations than people are used to." Sounds like a thoughtful girl.
Nicki's photo is also a standout. The 26-year-old dental hygienist from Hurst, Texas, sounds like a fun-loving gal — and a good match for party boy Ben. Asked about her ideal mate's personality, she answered, "Funny (love sarcasm!), outgoing, well-mannered, hard-working, family man, honest and sincere." Done and done. Her best date memory sounds dreamy too — "Pulling over on the side of a country road after a great dinner to dance under the stars to a Jack Ingram song." What happened with THAT guy? (Is he single?) Asked "If you wanted to approach a man you had never met before, how would you go about doing it?" she gave a good answer for a Bachelor contestant — "Make him notice me (walk by, talk to his friend, etc.) then make flirtatious eye contact with him until he approaches me." So she's a hottie and she knows it. Potential here.
Team Sheryl all the way, baby. Ben could use an older woman to show him the ways of this wicked world. So what if she isn't really a contestant on the show? She shows up and hobbles her way out of the limo — and ABC gave her a bio — so, to us, she's in. And bless her heart for it. She said, in her bio, that if she really wanted to impress a man "I'd do almost anything. I believe in taking risks in order to get the man I love." Nice. If Ben is foolish enough to dump her, she should become the Season 8 Bachelorette — even if she has a boyfriend back home (like William Holman). #TeamSherylFTW.
