The ghosts of Brad Womack's past are going to haunt him for a long, long time. We're going to hear more from DeAnna Pappas and Jenni Croft on The Bachelor Season 15 premiere on January 3. But let's catch up on what the two ladies have been up to, and also revisit Brad's third place bachelorette (and rumored first choice), Bettina Bell.
DeAnna was a 25-year-old Realtor from Newnan, Georgia, when she went on The Bachelor in 2007. She went from being Brad's co-dumpee to being the Season 4 Bachelorette. She chose Jesse Csincsak but it didn't work out. She's now engaged to high school teacher Stephen Stagliano, the twin brother of Michael Stagliano of Jillian Harris' season of The Bachelorette. DeAnna and Holly Durst of Matt Grant's season of The Bachelor are planning a double wedding, since Holly is engaged to Michael Stagliano. Holly and DeAnna recently went shopping for wedding dresses. DeAnna and the Stags recently joined Kiptyn Locke and Tenley Molzahn for a charity dodgeball tournament. DeAnna has been to Iraq and Kuwait a couple of times to entertain the troops with the USO.
Jenni Croft Badolato
Jenni — a former Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader, Miami Heat Dancer, and Phoenix Suns Dancer — was a 27-year-old from Wichita, Kansas, when she met Brad in 2007. She married John Badolato, a cosmetic dentist from Scottsdale, Arizona, in early October 2010. Now jennicroft tweets things like "Take a moment and vote for my hubby Dr. John Badolato for Best Dentist! Best Dentist or Dental Team arizonafoothillsmagazine.com/best-of-our-va… via @AZFoothillsMag." Both DeAnna and Jenni publicly supported Brad when it was announced he would be The Bachelor 2.0.
Bettina was a 27-year-old Realtor from Washington, D.C., when she went on The Bachelor. According to Kristin dos Santos of E! Online, the real reason Brad chose neither Jenni nor DeAnna was because he really wanted Bettina. A "rock-solid source" told E!, "Brad was really into [Bettina Bell], who made it to the final four. But when he went to visit her parents, Bettina's father was so awful to him, Brad knew it wouldn't work. So, he was just sort of over the whole thing."
Bettina's father was "disappointed" by Brad's lack of a college degree and career choice as a bar owner. There was some scuttlebutt that Bettina would be brought back on Brad's second season of The Bachelor, but her name is not on the list of 20 bachelorettes who make it past the premiere.
What is Bettina doing now? She's the CEO of Bettinis, the teeny bikinis that have been worn by celebs from Kristin Cavallari of The Hills to model Bar Refaeli in a Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue. Check out this Hollywire video interview with Bettina from this past August. It's not clear if she's single or not, but her Facebook photo has her looking cozy with a guy.
