Courtney shows off her playful side in this swimsuit photo shoot.
No wonder Courtney Robertson is so good at “playing the game” on The Bachelor Season 16 — she has previous experience with reality TV. Spoiler King Reality Steve dug up an exotic TV show from Courtney’s past and here are the details from his blog today:
[L]ooks like our little Jezebel was on a game show in New Zealand back in the early 2000′s called ‘Treasure Island: Couples at War.’ According to the bios, she was dating some hunky South African born guy who was a champion of ‘Fear Factor’ over there. Two things that kinda stand out when looking at that bio: Either it was a misprint, or her last name used to be ‘Robinson.
The show’s site, Treasure Island: Couples at War, includes a bio (and pic) for the team of Courtney Robinson & Mark Hewlett:
South-African born Mark Hewlett melted hearts when he gave a chunk of the $100,000 he won in Fear Factor Champions to his New Zealand-based parents and constantly sang the praises of our lovely little country. In fact, Mark loved his parents new home so much he has moved here as well and is now working on radio station ZM. After taking part in a number of breathtaking stunts and eating some unimaginably nasty concoctions on Fear Factor, Mark reckons he's up for any challenge that Treasure Island can throw at him. Mark - who has developed diabetes since his win - has become a passionate advocate for living a full life in spite of the condition, and says nothing with hold him back. Joining Mark on the island is his gorgeous American girlfriend Courtney Robinson, a model with extensive international experience - including shoots for Abercrombie & Fitch, Guess, Coca Cola and more.
Did she change her name to Robertson after the show or did she change her name to Robinson for this particular show? Maybe she wanted to sound all survivaly like the Swiss Family Robinson?
Unfortunately, Courtney and Mark did not win the show, so Court’s claim that she’s usually “winning” wasn’t true this time. Unless by “winning” she means that she keeps dating hot guys. In that case, she’s totally winning!
