The women of The Bachelor sure know how to bring a cat fight, but they also know how to bring the hot fashion! Last night’s “The Women Tell All” was a veritable feast for Fashionistas, with bright colors, sequins, and fabulous accessories! Of course, there were some duds — and I’m talking about the clothes, not the girls.
As the women prepare to head to LA to film “The Women Tell All,” they have already had a chance to see what looks best on them on TV. Now that they have an opportunity to strut their stuff in front of Brad and America one last time, most of the ladies bring it. I personally didn’t experience the filming of the “The Women Tell All” show, because I was one of the last two girls. That meant I would be at the “After the Final Rose” filming instead. But I definitely know the mentality these women had coming to LA and into filming:They wanted to look their best, step it up, and have the as much confidence as possible.
Just like when they were filming the actual show, the bachelorettes are in charge of their own style, makeup, and hair. But as far as I know — from my experience with the “After the Final Rose” filming — Cary Fetman, the Bachelor Stylist, was there checking to make sure everything works for the camera and that no one was wearing the same color or the same dress! They also have a hair and makeup person who does touch-ups — which is definitely important after those tears.
I am so glad we were able to see some of these ladies again, because I have been missing them and their fashion picks. Especially sweet Ashley Spivey — I just love her and her clothing — in that gorgeous gold Aidan Mattox mini dress (discovered by Possessionista)! The color worked beautifully with her olive skin and her golden hair; it was the perfect little number to remind America how much they love her. Plus, it made me want to go straight to Nordstrom to find one for myself!
Marissa impressed me yet again with her gray one-shoulder Gianni Bini Mariah dress. A girl after my own fashion taste, she added the perfectly sized belt to give her outfit the right flattering shape for her small body.
All the bright colors caught my eye and got me excited for spring and summer — especially Lisa’s coral Alice + Olivia dress with that gorgeous turquoise necklace! Madison’s beautiful blue blouse reminded me of what a poised woman she was. I’m not sure where the necklace or the blouse are from, but I don’t doubt that my sweet fashion friend, Possessionista, will have all of the answers.
The one girl who truly turned heads is Ashley Hebert. She worked her hot new look! Ashley never had complete closure with Brad when she left South Africa, so she did an “eat your heart out” makeover that had Brad squirming for a second as he realized what he had said goodbye to. Ashley — who said, “Brunette’s have more fun” — complemented her new hair color with the perfect red lipstick and a sexy black mini dress with a zipper down the front. I’m dying to find out where Ashley found this dress, because you could dress it up or down and still look super sexy either way.
Between the two Ashleys, their dress choices for the evening, and their desires to find the right guy soon, I’m thinking they are neck and neck in the running to be the next Bachelorette. We should know by next week, after we find out which woman Brad is calling his love!
