So far, the biggest mystery of The Bachelor Season 17 hasn’t been which lucky woman Sean Lowe picks — it’s what’s going on with Tierra LiCausi’s forehead. Seriously, what’s up with that? While the rest of her furrow is smooth as can be, there’s a spot smack dab in the center that’s just … well… more expressive than the rest, let’s just say that.

Some of Tierra’s detractors have gone so far as to suggest a bad round of Botox may be the cause of the indentation. To find out, we consulted celebrity plastic surgeon Dr. Anthony Youn. After reviewing several photos of Tierra’s brow line in action, he’s not so sure botched injections are the cause.

“It’s a tough call,” Youn tells Wetpaint Entertainment. “The groove in the middle of her forehead is definitely unusual. But while poorly performed Botox injections can create this kind of forehead abnormality, that’s not the obvious cause to me here. It could just be genetics. I’ll say this, she definitely has an intense crying face!”

Indeed, Tierra's brother, Tyler LiCausi, tells us the mark has long been there — and does tend to get worse when she’s upset. “It shows more when she’s stressed,” Tyler explains. “Until now, she’s never really thought about it, but given all the attention it’s been getting from the show, she’s going to the doctor to get it checked out next week.”

We can’t wait for the diagnosis.
