A Bachelor insider told Wetpaint Entertainment exclusively that the Season 6 winner "was grateful to meet Ali and really, truly fell in love with her — but he never loved the fame part.”
And in that regard, as previously rumored, they were different: “It was one of his and Ali's main issues: She was very interested in staying the spotlight and being a very public Bachelor couple. He just wanted them to live a quiet, normal life,” confirms the source.
"How they've each handled themselves since the split is VERY indicative of their differences,” the insider points out. “She went on the cover of People to talk about it, he laid low. These days, she's doing guest spots on Emily Maynard's season and granting interviews and he's basically dropped off the radar. He just doesn't care about being famous."
So by now you can probably guess what the answer to that big rose-colored question is. Yup, despite an overwhelming desire from Bachelor/ette fans to see Dimples find love on TV again, the insider was more than a little skeptical that would ever happen. "He may be single and a fan favorite, but I don't think Roberto would EVER do the Bachelor."
"I mean, never say never.” Oh, we won’t!
