Gia was Jake Pavelka’s third-place contestant on The Bachelor: On the Wings of Love. She went on to appear on the first season of Bachelor Pad.

Although she was dating NHL player Chris Campoli at the time, she had a Bachelor Pad showmance with Bachelorette 5 villain Wes Hayden, which helped to end her relationship with Chris. Gia and Wes left the show as “friends” because they live so far apart — he in Austin, Texas, and she in New York — but Gia was upset at the rumors/news that Wes was hooking up with Vienna Girardi, Jake Pavelka’s former fiance and Gia’s good friend from their time on The Bachelor. As of early 2011, Gia was trying to get back with her ex, Chris.

Gia works as a professional modeling consultant for Dream It Make It, an agency that helps artists, models, musicians, athletes, actors, writers, and entrepreneurs make their names in the industry. She is also playing the role of legendary actress Ava Gardner in an upcoming film on the life of actor Gianni Russo. Filming began in January 2011.
