Desiree Hartsock has only gone on a pair of 1-on-1 dates so far, and one group date. And, um, Chris Siegfried hasn’t gone on ANY. In fact, besides his charming entrance out of the limo, when he fake proposed to the Season 9 Bachelorette, Chris has seen almost zero screen time. So, does this mean he’s on his way out, or is he getting the Catherine Guidici treatment from producers so far?

Worry not, Siegfried fans. While our boy Chris has yet to truly make an impression on viewers, he’s going to get that chance soon enough — and for a while after. He wins solo time with Des after the dodgeball date in Episode 3, but doesn’t get a 1-on-1 until Episode 5, when the gang heads to Germany. And, get this: According to Reality Steve, the former baseball player turned HomeStreet Bank employee makes it all the way to the finale!

So, does he win? Is he engaged to Des? Nope. Poor Chris gets down on his knee again in the finale, but he’s brutally rebuffed when Desiree chooses another fella over him instead. Ouch. Yep, that’s right, according to a Wetpaint Entertainment source, Des pulls an Hebert and lets Chris gush emotions at her before she tells him he’s not the one.

Are you surprised he doesn’t win? Would you have said yes if he asked? And, more importantly, do you think he’ll be the next Bachelor if he plays his cards right this season? Spill your feels.
