Real talk: if ABC doesn't deliver a Bachelor or Bachelorette wedding sometime next year, we're going to stage a protest. A protest with a drum circle.

Tragically, Emily Maynard's Bachelorette love journey with Jef Holm crashed and burned like one of Nick Roy's magic tricks, but not all is lost! We have high hopes that The Bachelorette Season 9's Desiree Hartsock will find the man of her dreams this season, and Emily is right there with us.

This southern belle wants nothing more than to see Desiree walk down the aisle with a baby-making buddy, but not for the reasons you might expect. Her real motivation for encouraging her franchise sistah friend to make it work? Um, girlfriend just wants to see Des work it in a wedding dress. After all, Desiree is an aspiring bridal designer, and she'll definitely pull out all the stops during her big day!

"Seeing Desiree in the wedding gown from Winnie Couture [during her date with Brooks Forester] just confirmed that she'll be the most beautiful bride," Emily tells InStyle. "I think we're all hoping this works out for her so we can see what kind of dress she'll choose for a TV wedding."

Preach, sister. Watching Des try on gowns with Brooks Forester was adorable — and she looked picture perfect in her dreamy white chiffon dress. But please, that thing is total child's play compared to the gorgeous gown Des will design for herself if she makes it down the aisle!

Do you think Desiree will end up getting hitched on TV? Because her Bachelor predecessor, Sean Lowe, promised fans a televised wedding and we're still waiting. Apparently, boyfriend has more important things to do. Like actually getting to know his bride, sigh.
