We never can say goodbye, boy. But lucky for ABC, Desiree Hartsock seems to have little trouble doing it on The Bachelorette. Between Maynard-ing Brian Jarosinski out of her man cave and making sure Brandon Andreen left the premises (um, we mean comforting him) in Episode 3, it looks like girl can take care of herself. You know, with bodyguard/man of the people Paulie, that is. But when the gang heads to Atlantic City, drama follows.
So, who goes home on the June 17 episode of The Bachelorette 2013? Two guys. Think you know who? Well, we’re gonna tell you anyway.
The show goes back to the usual two 1-on-1s and a group date format when they hit Jersey. Why New Jersey for the dates? Well, because Chris Harrison is hosting the Miss America pageant there in September, and this is their way of saying “PLEASE WATCH!” to fans. And in return, we get to see 11 of the remaining 13 dudes waltz around in skimpy swimsuits. Well played.
But while some of the guys stand out on the group date, Newport Beach-based hottie Zack Kalter fails to make the grade, and gets sent home at the Rose Ceremony. Also getting on a plane home is human Ken doll Brad McKinzie, who gets a call that his ex (you know, the one with the drinking problem and domestic violence issues, and also the mother of his 3-year-old) has left their son in Colorado and moved to Texas. So, uh, that’s all for Brad! Which is too bad. Sad. Bye dad! (If Brandon were still around, he’d probably cry.)
