Over the years, there have been some incredible couples that have captured our hearts on The Bachelor and The Bachelorette. And although they haven’t always made it once the show wrapped and reality (the real kind) set in, that doesn’t mean we don’t remember watching them fall in love (or like) on television.
So, back in May, we asked you to rank your favorite Bachelor Nation couples of all time. And though we started off with 36 couples, originating from The Bachelor, The Bachelorette, Bachelor Pad, and real life, three rounds of voting took us down to this final group of couples. And the time has come, y’all, to pick just one.
Who’s left in the competition?
First up is the newest Bachelor couple, Sean Lowe and Catherine Guidici, who fell in love on Season 17 and got engaged in the finale in Thailand. Since the show wrapped, the two have moved to Los Angeles, with Sean competing on Dancing With The Stars while Catherine got to know the City of Angels. Although the two have said they’ll get married on TV at some point, it hasn’t happened yet. And now that their public life is a little bit over for now, the two have been advised to “come back to their reality.”
And just who gave them this advice? Oh, that would be couple number two, Ashley Hebert and J.P. Rosenbaum.
While Ash had a rough time starting out on The Bachelorette Season 7, being lied to by one guy, used by another, and making us cry right along with her, she found a happy ending in JP.
Basically, we couldn’t be any more happy for her, or jealous of Ash for finding love with her contractor hubby, whom she married on ABC in December 2012.
But when we talk about love and The Bachelor franchise, we have one couple to thank for making people fall in love with love: Trista and Ryan Sutter. After Trista was rejected in the first season of The Bachelor, she bounced back in a big way, starring in Season 1 of The Bachelorette.
And talk about a happy ending — Trista picked Colorado firefighter Ryan in the finale, and it’s a good thing she did. Their televised wedding is Chris Harrison’s favorite Bachelorette memory of all time, and Team Sutter has now been together for nearly 10 years and grown to include darling children Blakesley and Max, who grace our world with the cutest pics we’ve ever seen.
So there you have it, guys.
Eleven years and 26 seasons into The Bachelor and The Bachelorette, and three couples left in the most intense Wetpaint Bachelor Nation couple showdown of all time.
Who is your favorite couple? Who makes you happy every time you think about their love? Tell us.
Share our poll with your friends, and let it be decided, once and for all (you know, for now) who the best, most favoritest, wonderfulest couple in all of the Bachelor franchise is.
