All three of Desiree Hartsock’s remaining boyfriends on The Bachelorette 2013 are total catches. But there’s just something about Chris Siegfried that keeps us coming back to him as Des’s best choice.

First, he’s gorgeous. Yeah, yeah, so are Brooks and Drew. But what Chris has is a rugged handsomeness. He looks good sweaty after playing baseball — which he used to do professionally — and wore No-Glare like a champ when Des came to his hometown of McMinnville, Oregon for their date.

You know what the best thing about Chris is when he works out? He doesn’t have to wear a rubberband in his hair like Brooks does. And there’s just something about Drew that says “I do all my working out in an air-conditioned gym,” which is kind of a turn off.

But aside from his good looks and ability to hang tough, Chris also speaks to Desiree’s artistic side. Who can forget the endless freaking poems that Chris wrote for Des, Des wrote for Chris, and the two wrote together? We certainly can’t drink enough to forget. Maybe now that Zak is gone, they’ll use the journal he gave Des to record their memories in rhyme. You know, unless Des decides to throw that out the window of a moving car (like Zak did with the ring she returned to him).

Clearly Chris’s family is also comfortable with Des, considering his dad threw Des over a board and cracked her back up the second she walked in the front door for Hometown Dates.
