MAN do you guys have a lot of feelings about The Bachelorette 2013’s Brooks Forester and Desiree Hartsock. Maybe it’s Brooksie’s hair, or his jean shorts, or the chin dimple that made itself known when he ugly-cried in Antigua, but some of you love him while others of you seemingly wish he’d never crossed Joey Potter’s Des’s dock.

Regardless of where you stand, thousands of you weighed in on our July 30 poll to determine what Des should do, or what you would do in her macrame vest. Although we’re sure there’s infinite degrees of feelings we’d go through if Brooks were to return, we gave you three options.

Interestingly, the fewest number of people went with the middle road: Maybe. It would depend on what he had to say. Although it wasn’t a significantly lower percentage, only 31.7% of you are on the fence about what you would do if Brooks returned. Many of you commented about the Mesnick of it all, though that situation was the reverse...

A few more of you — 32.8% — took the stance of Heck no, bro. That breakup was brutal and it's O-V-E-R. And we feel you. There’s nothing like getting dumped on national television, particularly after confessing you love that person to everyone who will listen. “Walk away, Des!” some of you said, while others of you commented that you wanted Des to end up with Chris Siegfried all along.

There must be some real romantics among you, since the largest percentage, 35.5%, wanted Des to take Brooks back, should he return. Yes! Des clearly loves him and people make mistakes, you agreed. But rather than just get engaged and get on with it, the majority of commenters want them just to date. “Brooks really likes her, he just isn’t ready to propose,” some of you said.

If you didn’t get a chance to weigh in, there’s still time. As the finale date, August 5, draws closer, we’re getting more and more excited by the day to see if our prediction, and feelings, are on par with Desiree’s.
