The bluest skies you’ve ever seen are in Seattle — and our girl Desiree Hartsock is about to experience that firsthand. As she revealed live on television during the After the Rose special after the Season 9 Finale, she’s packing up her Los Angeles bungalow and heading north to the Emerald City to shack up with her hubby-to-be, Chris Siegfried.

In Part 1 of the two-part season finale, Chris told Des if she wanted his heart, it lives in Seattle, along with his career, so he'd need her to move there to be with him. While Des seemed reticent at the time, she did say she'd be willing to uproot her life in L.A. if Chris ended up being the one. True to her word, not only is Des moving to Washington — it sounds like she'll be all settled in by this time next week!

Des and Chris will be in good company in the Pacific Northwest. Bachelor Season 17 winner Catherine Giudici's family lives in Seattle, as do Bachelor Season 12’s Jason and Molly Mesnick. Season 15’s Chantal O’Brien and Season 16 runner-up Lindzi Cox also reside in the area. Basically, you can’t throw a rock from the top of the Space Needle without hitting an awesome potential life partner.

It also bears mentioning that Wetpaint Entertainment’s West Coast headquarters are in Seattle as well. How convenient! Des, Chris: Just let us know if you need a hand unloading the U-Haul.
