Update 8/14/13 1:29pm PST: According to numerous outlets, Gia Allemand has passed away at the age of 29. The apparent cause of death is suicide. Our hearts and thoughts are with Gia's loved ones — family members and Bachelor Nation family alike.

UPDATE 8/13/13 4:20pm PST: According to close friend Melinda Farina, Gia is "on life support w little pulse and barely breathing...cause unknown...next 48 hours critical."

It’s time to rally, Bachelor Nation. E! News reports that Gia Allemand, who was on The Bachelor Season 14 and Bachelor Pad 1 and 2 is in critical condition. Although details are currently unknown on what caused her rush to the hospital, it is being called a “serious emergency medical event.”

Gia was brought to University Hospital in her hometown of New Orleans on Monday night. She is currently at the hospital with her boyfriend, NBA basketball player Ryan Anderson, and her mother.

Gia’s family has requested their privacy during this troubling time. We don’t know what caused this sudden hospitalization but we are thinking good thoughts for Gia at this time and will bring you more news as soon as we have it.

Bachelor pals immediately reacted to the news on Twitter.

Season 14 castmate Valishia Chapman posted, “I pray in the name of Jesus that @GiaAllemand will be ok. My heart aches right now.”

Show pal and new E! correspondent Ali Fedotowsky also tweeted love to her friend, saying "Please keep @GiaAllemand in your thoughts today. She's in critical condition. That's all I know. Love you Gia."

Bachelor Pad BFF Graham Bunn got serious with his prayers, posting "Prayers @GiaAllemand & her fam/friends as she fights 4her Life NOT her time so lets make it known 2the play caller" 

Season 10’s Peyton Lambton gave positive vibes, saying “My thoughts are with @GiaAllemand right now. You are a tough one and I know you will get through this!! xoxoxo”
