Bachelor Nation is still in shock over the tragic passing of Gia Allemand, who died on August 14 after an apparent suicide. Gia's body was found by her boyfriend, Ryan Anderson, who rushed her to New Orleans' University Hospital where she passed away surrounded by friends and family — including her mother, Donna Micheletti.

Donna posted an obituary for her daughter on the Papavero Funeral Home website (where a public visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 21). The obituary reads as follows:

"Loving girlfriend 'Petrie' of Ryan 'Snuggy' Anderson, beloved daughter and little princess of Donna Micheletti and stepdaughter of Tony Micheletti, loving sister of Dylan and Erick, most cherished granddaughter of Marie (Nonna) Coltrinari, devoted Godchild of Fred and Annemarie Coltrinari, dear cousin of Brian, Ellen, Kevin and Julie, and also survived by her dear dog Bentley."

Her mother also posted a photo video titled "Celebrating the Life of Gia Allemand," which features pictures of Gia with friends and family, and even includes a few snapshots from her time on The Bachelor.

Check back in with Wetpaint Entertainment for more information about Gia's unexpected and tragic passing, and updates regarding her funeral and how you can pay your respects, which will be held on Thursday, August 22 at New York City's Trinity Grace Church of Chelsea.
