What has Nick Peterson been doing since his selfish wise awful awesome decision to keep all his Bachelor Pad 3 winnings? He’s been preparing for a new TV show!

On August 27, the Tampa resident tweeted that he was flying from his hometown to Nashville and Miami to film a teaser for his new reality series, Courting America.

What’s the show about? According to a press release, Nick will try to “vindicate himself from the preconceived notions that the viewers have about him after choosing money over love” on last summer’s shocking BP3 finale. Initial filming for the pilot episode will be done in the two cities.

While in Music City, Nick will attempt to “court” Miss Alabama 2013, Mary Margaret McCord. Here’s how Nick defends himself: "I know I have an uphill battle ahead of me, not one woman in America trusts me right now, but I really am a good guy!"

First of all, not every woman in America even watched BP3, and a lot of women who did, thought Nick made a smart call to keep the money. They were all on the show for that $250,000, and Nick and eventual runner-up Rachel Truehart didn’t have a long-term alliance or a romantic relationship — they were only a team because their partners were eliminated. Besides, Nick is hot and that goes a long way. Then again, fellow muscle-man Ryan Lochte tried to do something like this after the Olympics and his E! reality show didn’t exactly make a (wait for it) splash.

What do you think of this show idea? It’s hard to say when or even if the show will be aired, but if ABC says no to Bachelor Pad 4 next year, they could let Nick give them another summer to remember.
