Bachelorette Ali Fedotowsky is going for gold! The 29-year-old former rose-giver turned entertainment correspondent got herself a gig reporting from the 2014 Winter Olympics in scenic Sochi, Russia.
International travel isn’t slowing down gal pal’s social media-ing (thank goodness). Although she had to take a timeout on live tweeting last night’s oceanside catastrophe on The Bachelor, we expect Ali to earn herself a medal in best Twittering once the Games kick off this Friday (February 7).
She’s already warming up with messages updating us on her travel plans — a 13-hour flight to Moscow followed by a shorter trip to Sochi on the Black Sea — and what she packed — three suitcases and a jacket (let’s hope there’s at least one more coat in those bags). Once she arrives on site, Ali will be keeping E! News in the loop and we’re sure she’ll stick the landing.
There is one downside to Ali’s exciting opportunity, however. She had to say goodbye to her pups for three whole weeks!
“There’s nothing likes a girls love for her dog. Saying goodbye to my puppy broke my heart :(,” she wrote before her February 3 departure. Boyfriend Kevin Manno didn’t get a shoutout but don’t worry, Kev. Maybe if you put a ring on her finger when she gets back, she’ll bring you your own precious medal.
