In case you didn’t get enough torch talk during last month’s Olympics, it’s now almost time for the metaphorical passing of the Bachelorette torch. Desiree Hartsock has been an excellent Bachelorette — but what does she think of the rumored choice of Andi Dorfman as her successor?

Des writes in her blog that Andi impressed her at this week’s “Women Tell All” special and she can see why Andi would get the coveted promotion. “Andi stayed true to how she felt about Juan the day she decided to go home and [stood by her story of] what happened in the fantasy suite,” Des writes. “Since she has been a fan favorite throughout this season, I am speculating that she will be the next Bachelorette.”

There you go: Andi appears to be Des’s pick to be the next Big Woman on Campus! We definitely see similarities between the two ladies both are driven in their careers, have self-deprecating senses of humor, and have family members who are kinda tough to impress so we’re not surprised that Des would connect with Andi.

The big question now is, will Andi if she is in fact announced as the Bachelorette during the “After the Final Rose” next week find the kind of lasting love that Des has found in fiancé Chris Siegfried? Well, we really hope she does but of course, it’s “OK” if she doesn’t. Totally OK.

Do you think Andi will be a better or worse Bachelorette than Des?
