There you have it: Andi Dorfman and Josh Murray are engaged! The lovely lookalike couple became officially betrothed in the Season 10 finale in a less-than-suspenseful Finale Rose — thanks to Andi sending Nick Viall home before the ceremony, poor dear. But we got to recover with some romantic words exchanged with the beautiful Dominican as a backdrop!
A few tidbits from the adorable proposal? Josh telling Andi: “I know deep down in my heart that I’m the only man that can make you smile the way that you do. When I look in your eyes, I see so much beauty. I see so much love and so much passion. I see a woman who I want to give the world to. I see a woman who I want to spend the rest of my life with.”
For her part, the Dorf responded just as adoringly to her former baseball playing beau. “Josh, I’ve loved you from the moment I laid eyes on you… Out of everything I’ve been through, I know I love you. I’m madly in love with you. You’re it! You’re the one I want to spend the rest of my life with, I want to have babies with.”
Cue the tears, sweeping music, and the belief in true love! Congrats, you two!
What a whirlwind it’s been for Bachelorette Andi Dorfman and total babe Josh Murray! And now, things are finally at the end of a season for us, and the beginning of a new life for themselves. If you’re just tuning into the finale tonight, without having watched any of the road to this point, we’ve got you covered. Wanna know a little about handsome athlete Josh? Well, read on, friend.
The 29-year-old hottie hails from Tampa, Florida, which Andi visited during the Hometown Dates episode on July 14. Their time was spent at the Murray family home, though Josh actually shares Andi’s Atlanta homebase. Oh, and a fun fact about Josh’s family lineage. You see, Josh grew up playing baseball like a champ, and even scored a deal right out of high school playing ball with the Milwaukee Brewers organization, where he stayed for five years. And he isn’t the only athlete in the family; brother Aaron was the QB (that’s quarterback, guys) for the University of Georgia and was recently drafted by the Kansas City Chiefs. Reality Steve spills that Hy Dorfman is a huge fan of his. In fact, back in January, Aaron even followed Ms. Andi on Twitter, and she tweeted about how jelly her dad would be. Well, if Andi picks Josh, Hy will have plenty of time to snag an autograph...
Way back around casting time, Josh Instagrammed a pic of himself heading out of town back on March 9, writing “And I’m out… See you guys soon” (with a little airplane, aww), so it seems making it pretty obvious that he was en route to Los Angeles in preparation for the Bachelorette 2014 season to begin taping. Though he was MIA during taping, since contestants can’t use their phones to get social with it. But don’t worry, he’s very active now, on bothInstagram (joshmurray11) and Twitter (jmurbulldog), there’s a lot to learn from both feeds.
Spoiler Steve mentions that Josh graduated from UGA in 2010 with a Business Admin B.A., after leaving professional baseball. Now, he apparently works in Financial Services for Capstone Financial. As far as family goes, the Murray clan is as close as they come. Besides his footballing bro Aaron, he also has a gorgeous sister named Stephanie, who shares her family’s insanely good brows (that’s important to Andi) and big smile. The family goes to church together, hits up games together, and even travels to events together. But the most important family member to Josh? Oh, that’d be his bulldog, Sabel..
Josh is a little bit of a mama’s boy, posting pics with mom Lauren frequently, and captioning one shot “One of these days ill find a woman as special as my mama, one of these days …” Looks like he found her...
