UPDATE 6/2/14: If Bradley was a fat lady, well, let's just say he would've sung. Because it's all over, for him anyway. What are we talking about? Gosh, great question. All we really know is that Season 10's resident sing-talker is outie and we're not that bummed about it. Sorry, real talk. On Sunday's Season 10 Episode 3, we were just trying to enjoy some time with Boyz and Men, but Bradley just had to keep freaking SINGING in his OPERA VOICE. Obviously we weren't the only ones who wanted to drop the curtain on his stage presence, because Andi gave him the boot and we can suddenly breathe. Breathe and hear.
No offense to Bradley, though. He seems really nice and like he really likes singing. In fact, the next time we go to Olive Garden, we really hope that he'll sing a selection from Le nozze di Figaro while he serves us unlimited breadsticks.
The handsome, accomplished Bradley is an opera singer who looks like he should star in the next Superman (maybe a musical version?). But will he follow in Bachelor 18 Sharleen Joynt’s footsteps and keep the singing to a minimum, or will the tenor belt it out wherever he can? That remains to be seen, as we’ll first meet BDubs on the May 19 premiere of the show’s tenth season.
According to digging machine Reality Steve, 32-year-old Bradley hails from Chicago, though it sounds as though he currently lives in New York, or wherever else career opportunities are. both his work and his impressive musical education have taken him all around the country! He graduated from Indiana University with a degree in music, then went on to get a Masters in music from the Manhattan School of Music in 2007. He has sung in numerous competitions across the country, and even made his debut at Carnegie Hall in 2014.
The Bachelorette isn’t his first reality show attempt. In 2012, he performed for the celeb judges of America’s Got Talent. We didn’t watch, but just a few minutes listening to him sing proves that he obviously has talent in spades.
This hottie wasn’t always destined to be a singing machine. When he was a kid, he wanted a career in the crazy world of professional golf. Bradley says that when he was a kid, he was on par to becoming a pro golfer, having teed off starting at around 4 years old. But in high school, he joined choir, and found that music was “a way to communicate from his soul.” So, now he does that. We’ll see if that’s how Andi wants to communicate too…
When he’s not singing, he’s helping out Apple users with the tech side of things, one phone call at a time. (Where was his silky voice when we needed help with our tech nightmares? UGH.)
Speaking of communication, Bradley’s Facebook (which says he’s from Grosse Pointe Shores, Michigan), Twitter, LinkedIn, and Instagram are currently deactivated, but his Google+, YouTube channel, and Vimeo pages are connected, as is his website. In case you need more opera in your life.
What do you think: is Bradley Wisk the guy for Andi? Is he here for the right reasons? Weigh in below!
