It’s hard to believe it was just 11 short years ago that we watched on the edge of our seats as the original Bachelorette Trista Sutter (formerly Rehn) fell in love with firefighter Ryan Sutter. It’s even harder to believe the reality duo are now the proud parents of two growing kids, Max, 6, and Blakesley, 5, which means Trista is celebrating her sixth Mother’s Day this Sunday. They grow up so fast, don’t they?! So how will the Bachelor Nation Royal’s offspring be celebrating Trista? By letting the crazy-busy Trista get out of the spotlight for once.
Trista recently told Celebrity Baby Scoop that she and her fab fam will be celebrating Ma’s Day by attending Blakesley’s first dance recital. Awwwww. Trista gushes, “She is so proud of her dance class and what she’s able to do and she just thoroughly loves it...It is in her bones — she wants to perform and she wants to dance.” Trista treated us to this shot of Blakes in her dance outfit and O-M-G what a cutie pie!
Watching a bunch of adorable wee dancers sounds like a relaxing way to spend the day for the celebrity mom. Trista’s been a busy bunny this year, hopping from one project to another like the professional multi-tasker she is. She released a book, Happily Ever After: The Life-Changing Power of a Grateful Heart, renewed her vows with hunky hubby Ryan, and partnered on a project with Colgate.
As if that weren’t enough, the happily married couple will be appearing this summer on Marriage Boot Camp. We did just say the lovebirds were happy right? So why are the Bachelor Nation’s longest running couple getting televised couple’s therapy? Mrs. Sutter explains, “We want to show people that how long you’ve been married, no matter how happy you are — because Ryan and I are the happiest we’ve ever been, truly — you have to work on your marriage. You have to put effort in. So what is the problem with actually working on it? There’s nothing wrong — we just want to be better.”
Amen, sistah friend. Whatever the reason, we just can’t wait to see these two on TV again. And, Happy Mother’s Day, lil’ Momma! Your fam is the cutest.
Let us know in the comments what you’re doing for Mother’s Day.
