UPDATE 5/26/14: Poor Carl. While some guys on Season 10 Episode 2 were really great at other people, Carl was sent home for being too... himself. Or something. Actually, we're honestly not sure why the firefighter from Hollywood, Florida was sent packing after portraying a firefighter in Hollywood, California (albeit in fewer garments) during a stripping date, but it happened. On the May 26 episode, poor Carl, dressed in nerd glasses (so hot, please wear those always, thanks), watched Bradley Wisk get the final rose at the Rose Ceremony.

He left pretty coolly, with no awkward words that will come back to bite him. He just wants love, guys. And someone to hold his hose. Fire hose, that is.

ORIGINAL STORY 5/09/14: While we’ve always known that Andi Dorfman’s Season 10 Bachelorette contestants are hot, we didn’t realize there was one in particular who’s there to start the fire. And no, Billy Joel isn’t there this season, cuz remember? He didn’t start the fire. Too out there? OK, we’ll carry on. The guy we are really talking about is one Mr. Carl King, and he is a doozy.

The 30-year-old hottie toddy is certainly going to be one of the guys we talk about for-uh-ever, and you’ll see why in just a few quick clicks of his Instagram. Obviously he’s into the yoga craze, since his handle is bodhisattva_king (last name pun!). The feed is full of pics of yoga enthusiast Carl bending his heavily inked, insanely fit body into various positions often with a hot lady attached at his hip in her own contortions. But it wasn’t just the yoga that got him into such killer shape. The crossfit lover also recently took second place in a competition among his peers.

So, remember that thing we said about fire? We weren’t just being cute. Mr. King here is a firefighter, and has been for quite some time. A little birdie tells us that the Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, fella hopped into training right out of high school, and signed on to save kittens from trees and dreams from burning to the ground. Since 2005, he’s had the tough job, and he looks great doing it.

When he’s not working or working out, he hangs with his dog, Archie, goes paddleboarding or longboarding, hits the beach, and enjoys any physical outdoor activity. Originally from Hollywood, Florida, the traveler probably saw Andi’s journey as another fun experience.

Unfortunately, according to Reality Steve, he doesn’t get a ton of time to hang around and build up stories on the show. Oh well, her season doesn’t involve a lot of beaches, so we can’t imagine it would’ve been his thing anyway…

Are you surprised he doesn’t make it far? Do you want Carl to be on Bachelor in Paradise? Hit the comments and share your thoughts!
