UPDATE 5/19/14: It was a tough ride for Mike "Camps" Campanelli, who showed up in a big way for Andi, but fell flat. After trying to pretend he was meeting her in a bar at his entrance, she decided she didn't even want to have a fake drink with him, and sent him home. Sucks to be you, brosef, but we bet you'll find another gal who thinks it's charming for you to give her a number out of a notebook you carry in your pocket. Yikes.
ORIGINAL STORY (5/15/14): We really hope Andi Dorfman is into long hair, because ABC cast her a slew of long-haired fellas, including Mike Campanelli. The six-foot-one blond, who looks like he was pulled from a Disney Prince central casting, names his chief attributes as charisma, open-mindedness, and sincerity. We believe him.
But he’s not all chin and hair. He graduated from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in 2006 with a degree in Mechanical Engineering & Design Innovation, but while he says his engineering degree is his greatest achievement, that’s not what he does for a living. 29-year-old Mike works as a bartender and could definitely serve up a big mug of love, if that’s what Andi is looking for.
The Guilderland, New York native makes his home in Alta, Utah these days, and works at a joint called Rustler Lodge. The charmer picked the place because he gets to ski every day and have summers off, and he loves being in the snow enough that he takes his dates there. Like the time he sent a date on a scavenger hunt, ending in wine and cheese in the snow. We like being indoors while boozing on classy spreads, but that’s just us.
Perhaps we’d be more into his best date ever, which was when he and a lucky lady went “Hiking up the mountain at full moon, sipping hot chocolate under the stars. Do I have to explain why? You know you'd like that date.” No, Mike, you don’t. That sounds great.
Too bad for Camps, Andi isn’t into snow, or long hair, or his charisma, because she kicks him out right quick, according to Reality Steve. Life is like a black diamond. Sometimes it’s rough going, brah.
