If you ever wondered what Emma Stone saw in her boyfriend Andrew Garfield, here’s the answer: his legs. Also, his ability to so perfectly capture a very raw struggle in under seven minutes.
The Amazing Spider-Man star shows off both his bod and his acting skills in the new music video for Arcade Fire. If you haven’t seen it, watch the full video below. It weighs in at nearly six minutes and 30 seconds long, but we were transfixed the whole time.
“We Exist” starts off with Andrew taking a page out of Natalie Portman’s book and shaving off his lovely locks. Unlike in V For Vendetta, though, Andrew’s doing this so he can wear the wig and the clothes that make him feel most comfortable. It’s a personal choice for Andrew’s transgendered character.
Caught in the rut of a small town, Andrew’s character gets looks so cold upon entering the local bar dressed as a woman, they nearly freeze the video — and unfortunately the haters don’t stop at glares.
Watch Andrew’s performance (including a stunning dance solo) and then head below to tell us what you think of “We Exist.” It ends on an uplifting note at a music festival you might recognize.
