Andi Dorfman’s season of The Bachelorette premieres on May...TONIGHT! And while we warm up our Lazy Boy in anticipation, we wonder what we can expect from the southern belle as a leading lady. We all remember how she took Juan Pablo Galavis to task during his turn in the driver’s seat, letting El Bachelor and viewers know she’s not to be trifled with. With her lack of the ooey gooeyness that Bachelorettes have displayed in the past, is her season going to be drastically different than the love fest we’ve come to expect? Chris Harrison weighs in on how Andi differs from Bachelorettes who’ve traveled the rose-colored path before her.

In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, the level-headed host chats about the assistant district attorney. “I think she is easily our most accomplished, business-minded woman that we’ve ever had on the show and maybe even period, Bachelor or Bachelorette.” What’s that now?

We have to admit we’re not sure what Chris means by that — does he think Andi’s the most accomplished woman to appear on either The Bachelor or The Bachelorette, or does he mean she’s more accomplished than any lead, male or female combined? Regardless, those are strong words of praise in a pool of alumni that includes an entrepreneur, a pilot, a dentist, an NFL player, a world-renowned opera singer, and even a bonafide prince.

“She’s definitely very analytical,” he goes on. “She’s an incredibly strong business woman and takes it very seriously, and she’s really good at it,” he reveals. “You’ll see that approach in everything she does on the show. It was refreshing to go through this with someone who is very business-like and understands that it does take work, and it is hard. Everything’s not just handed to you, so she was very grateful and appreciative of everything which made it nice.”

What else is different about Andi? Apparently, girl will get you giggling. In an earlier interview with Parade, Harrison practically gushed about the 27-year-old bombshell. “She’s self-deprecating, she’s got a great sense of humor.” Such an amazing sense of humor, in fact, that Chris went on to compare the brainy beauty to Julia Louis-Dreyfus’s character on Veep. “She has this way about her that I think Julia Louis-Dreyfus does where you just want to be friends with her and you just want to be around her.”

With all that going for her, Chris reveals that Andi’s season is full of “so many guys falling for her,” and attributes the only drama to be had to the guys’ competition for her heart. “They realize this is a great girl that’s worth fighting for,” the host says of the in-fighting that may come into play.

Sounds like Andi has the perfect mix to be an amazing Bachelorette, and we can’t wait for this day to end so we can tune in to her premiere.

What do you think? Does Andi have what it takes to be the most endearing Bachelorette in history?
