Not every guy on The Bachelorette Season 10 is going to find love with Andi Dorfman. It’s just an unfortunate reality of the reality dating show: There can only be one winner. But according to a new report from Life & Style, a few of the contestants from this season are already in talks to sign on for Bachelor in Paradise when it starts filming in June.
According to the site, several of Andi’s guys are packing their bags to go on the brand new summer show, which premieres the week after Andi’s finale. “Andi’s season just finished filming, and they are already off to another dating show!” a source says. But honestly, who cares about that part? Almost all the show leads have “just finished” another show before starring on their own. It’s how ABC gets fans on board to watch, isn’t it? Casting the relevant ones? But we digress.
Another show source reportedly told the gossip mag that there are some “bad seeds” Andi will have to “weed out,” mixing metaphors but not mincing words. One such was said to be super hot JJ O’Brien, the 6-foot-5 “pantsapreneur” from San Francisco. An insider believes the owner of clothing company Hem Haus only joined The Bachelorette to promote his business.
Andi, 27, tells L&S she had a “huge fear” throughout the show that contestants weren’t there just to find love with her, and would be fake with her on camera. “Even though I felt like I knew who they were, that fear was definitely in the back of my mind,” confides the gang prosecutor. So, if reports are right about the fellas who were proving Andi’s fears to be valid, it’s a shame she was possibly duped.
When your boyfriends are cast to be on a reality show where they’ll spend, like, less than a few days’ total time with you before proposing, it’s just part of the gig to have to question everything. So, while we think it’s great Andi is being cautious, we can’t imagine that the tough as nails assistant district attorney is mad her boyfriends-of-five-minutes might seek love (or fame, as it may be) elsewhere. She did it, so who cares?
Do you agree that it’s silly to get mad that a show ex would try and get on another show? Or, is Andi right to feel, reportedly, annoyed about it? Hit the comments and sound off!
