Decisions, decisions. Some days just the choice between peanut or plain sends us into a catatonic state. So when Bachelorette Andi Dorfman made out with both Josh Murray and Marcus Grodd on Episode 3’s Group Date, how did she ever decide which tongue tango partner earned the rose?

In her People blog, the kiss collector justified giving her flower to Josh over Marcus, saying that Josh made an effort to express his feelings during their solo time. While Marcus seems to have done that a touch better in our opinion, Andi says it was the future she had in mind. “I wanted to encourage him to continue to open up,” she explains.

How exactly did the palm-to-face master make an effort to tell Andi how he feels? Good question. If you were watching the same show as we were, you witnessed more of Josh’s signature giggle-ramble. We know episodes are heavily edited, but the giddy school boy’s “I just wanna kiss you” didn't really sound like he was trying to get all that deep with her. At least, not the deep she was referring to...

So what about the Marcus makeout? We definitely thought it was steamy enough to land a flower in his lapel. Andi writes, “I really enjoyed talking to Marcus that evening. He started to open up to me, and we had our very first kiss.” Hear that boys? Open up to Andi and you’ll get a kiss. She’s said it about two different guys now, so the strategy has been field tested.

Though Marcus did try his best to come out of his clamshell and snag the rose, apparently Josh’s lips are just too strong of a force to reckon with. We’re sure Marcus isn’t the first guy to have to bow to J’s prowess, but maybe he’ll have better luck on tonight’s 1-on-1 date.

What did you think of Andi’s decision to hand Josh the rose? Were you surprised Marcus didn’t nab it? Tell us below.
