There are so many fight fans in America who pony up for MMA and boxing, you’d think a little free man-to-man combat would’ve raised the roof on Bachelorette ratings, right? Well, you’re on the right track, as the June 16 episode, set in the beautiful town of Marseilles, France, pulled a solid group of rose fans into the fold.

While Andi Dorfman’s numbers haven’t been blowing us out of the water this season, after taking a week off, the show came back pretty strong with the drama-heavy episode. According to the prime time breakdown from TVbytheNumbers, the halfway mark installment of our favorite reality show pulled a 1.6 rating with a 5 ratings share in the key 18-49 demographic.

While Episode 4 grabbed a 1.8 and 6.74 million viewers, the ratings site says that 6.1 million folks watched Nick Viall face off with Cody Sattler, and Marquel Martin hash it out with Andrew Poole. Not exactly the peak of the franchise numbers, but definitely nothing to shake a thorn at, either. Plus, back when tens of millions of folks popped on the tube on Monday nights, we could barely work a VCR, let alone DVR the dang thing...

It stands to reason that things will be on the up and up as the pool of guys dwindles and Andi has to make some tough choices. Ditching Marquel was hard for us, but we have a feeling we’re going to really shed some tears when some of the next few guys are sent home.

Did you tune in to watch Andi’s Episode 5 on June 16? Did you love it or hate it?
