It looks like Nick Viall is finally tired of being hated on by Bachelor Nation and is going to stop saying things, like revealing sexual history, that land him on the wrong end of the villain stick. Which is kind of a surprising change in tactic for him — way to grow, bro.

After watching how Nick handled getting ditched by Andi Dorfman — and by handled we mean how he fell apart on national television — and then how he got shut down by Andi during their heart-to-heart on the After the Final Rose special, we completely expected Nick to get on his soapbox, aka social media, and tweet his grumpy feelings of dumphood to the world. He did not.

Instead, McSalty took the high road and tweeted some feel goods to Andi and her newly minted fiancé, Josh Murray, after the July 28 airing. “Congratulations to @AndiDorfman and @jmurbulldog on their engagement. Wishing you both incredible happiness.” Neither half of #TeamMurray tweeted him back.

Prior to the show, Nick also sent out some thoughts about his future post-Bachelorette, tweeting “An end to a journey...a beginning of a life.” Looks like he’s ready to get on with his — at least, after last night’s awkwardness, let’s hope so!

Should Nick have tweeted his congrats or stayed mum after the show last night? Tell us your thoughts in the comments.
