The Bachelor/ette franchise has had a few success stories in its 13-year run, with couples such as Trista Rehn and Ryan Sutter, Sean Lowe and Catherine Giudici, and Ashley Hebert and J.P. Rosenbaum putting rings on it. However, the series has spawned more than twice as many close friendships for host Chris Harrison as it has marriages for the leads. In fact, maybe they should rename the show Chris Harrison’s Best Friend Race?
That said, Chris admits in a recent interview with Zap2It that he does have his favorites and isn’t exactly tight with all of the show’s former stars. “Andi [Dorfman] and I got along great,” he says of the most recent Bachelorette. “Sean and I did. Obviously, Juan Pablo [Galavis] and I didn’t see eye to eye on a lot of stuff and, you know, we’re not the best of friends.”
Yeah, no kidding. However, Chris makes it clear he doesn’t harbor any ill will toward the guy. “I don’t dislike him by any means, but obviously out of 12 years, I’m not going to be BFFs with everybody, that’s not the way it works.”
Chris’s besties from the show also include some OGs like Season 2 Bachelor Bob Guiney and Season 3 hottie Andrew Firestone, as well as the franchise’s first success story, Trista and Ryan. We’re gonna assume he’s pretty tight with Ash and J.P., too, since he officiated their wedding and all!
Plenty of Bachelor Nation contestants have made it clear they’re not here to make friends, but it sure seems like MC Chris is!
