Ali Fedotowsky is now two years away from her stint as the Bachelorette for Season 6 of ABC’s reality show franchise, and one year out of her split from fiance Roberto Martinez. Far from sidelined, the bubbly blonde is now helming another television show: NBC’s travel show 1st Look, which includes a lot of eating and zero rose-doling.

Wetpaint Entertainment got the chance to catch up with Ali at the Voli Vodka party on December 8, 2012, in Los Angeles, and we asked if she’d ever consider returning to be the Bachelorette again. Here’s Ali’s response, which is equal parts decisive and poetic:

I have been asked this question for the last two years ever since I got off the show. I've always been like, Never say never. At this point, no. I've realized that. It's just — I feel like there's too much that goes on in that world. I did it, and I believe I did it for a reason. Eventually it will lead my path — maybe I will meet the guy of my dreams on my show, 1st Look, which I never would have got without Bachelorette. So I feel like I'm supposed to do it to find my real love. But I don't think going back is going to put it together.
