Emily Maynard might be a Southern belle, but she’s not afraid to use her words — including one particular four-letter word lobbed at Kalon McMahon. In the just-released three-minute long promo for The Bachelorette Season 8, the guys team up to warn Emily about the shady behavior of fellow contestant Kalon. Emily doesn’t miss a beat, telling the guy to “get the f*ck out.”
It’s a dark moment in a season that otherwise looks straight out of a Nicholas Sparks novel. While Emily seems majorly enthralled with Sean Lowe, Arie Luyendyk, Jr., and Jef Holm, it’s the Utah entrepreneur who seems to cause her to gush, “I really feel like he’s ready to be a husband and to be a dad.” Check out our scene-by-scene analysis of the preview for the season below:

1:05 — Jef catches a little girl in his arms
1:08 — In a similar flashback scene, Emily twirls Ricki in her arms on a Bermuda beach (could they be trying to tell us something?). Emily’s voice says, “There is nothing more that I want than to make my family complete.”
Then… THINGS GET DARK.

1:34 — Jef says, “She’s been through a lot and I feel like she deserves to know the truth. She should be warned about dudes like that.”
1:37 — Doug tells Emily (while they’re in England) “one of the guys in the house referred to Ricki as ‘baggage.’”
1:46 — Emily sits down with the group of guys, points at Kalon. “Do you have anything to say for yourself?”
1:51 — Emily, pointing, yells, “Get the f*ck out!”
